Airway, Sleep & Jaw Health
Your Mouth Does More Than Chew
- Your teeth, tongue, jaw, muscles, breathing, and sleep don't operate independently. That's why symptoms such as snoring, mouth breathing, grinding, jaw tension, restless sleep, or waking tired may deserve a broader conversation.

Airway & Sleep Screening
Eight hours in bed doesn't always mean eight hours of restorative sleep. We evaluate dental and oral clues that may be associated with sleep-related breathing concerns, including the teeth, bite, jaw, tongue posture, oral habits, and airway anatomy. When appropriate, we coordinate with medical and sleep providers for diagnosis and collaborative treatment.
Myofunctional Therapy
Think of it as physical therapy for the mouth and face. Myofunctional therapy uses targeted exercises to work on patterns involving tongue posture, lip seal, swallowing, breathing, and oral muscle function. The goal isn't simply stronger muscles—it's healthier function and habits.
TMJ & Jaw Wellness
Jaw discomfort doesn't always begin and end at the joint. We evaluate your bite, muscles, tooth wear, clenching or grinding patterns, sleep, and other contributing factors to better understand what may be placing stress on the system.
Oral Appliance Therapy
For appropriately diagnosed sleep-related breathing conditions, a customized oral appliance may be used to support the lower jaw in a position that creates more room behind the tongue and supports nighttime airflow. Treatment is coordinated appropriately with sleep and medical providers.
