CONSERVATIVE & RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Thoughtful dentistry designed to restore what needs help while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.
Repair What Needs Help. Preserve What Is Still Strong.
Your natural tooth structure is valuable. Whenever clinically appropriate, our goal is to repair what is weakened while preserving as much healthy enamel and tooth structure as possible.
Think of your natural tooth like the original structure of a house. If only one area is damaged, you wouldn’t tear down everything around it.
We also consider your bite, function, material preferences, and the long-term health of the tooth when recommending a restoration.
The result is dentistry designed not only to look natural, but to function thoughtfully for years to come.
Tooth-Colored Fillings
For smaller areas of decay, wear, or damage, tooth-colored fillings allow us to restore the tooth while preserving as much healthy structure as possible. We select restorative materials with function, durability, esthetics, and material considerations in mind and prioritize BPA-conscious options whenever clinically appropriate.
Ceramic Inlays & Onlays
Sometimes a tooth needs more support than a filling—but does not necessarily require a full crown. When appropriate, a ceramic inlay or onlay can rebuild and strengthen the damaged portion of the tooth while preserving more of your natural tooth structure. Best suited for: Teeth that need additional strength without full-coverage treatment.
Ceramic Crowns
When a tooth has lost more structure and needs greater protection, a ceramic crown may be the most appropriate option. With CEREC digital technology, we can design and create many ceramic crowns right in our office—often in a single visit, without a temporary crown. Best suited for: Teeth with significant structural loss, cracks, or larger existing restorations.
Have Older Silver Amalgam Fillings?
Not every existing filling needs to be replaced.
If an older amalgam filling is still healthy and functioning well, we may simply continue to monitor it.
If the restoration is failing—or you have personally chosen to replace it—we can evaluate the tooth and discuss the most appropriate restorative options.
When removal is appropriate, Natural Focus offers
SMART-protocol mercury amalgam removal , using additional protective measures designed to reduce exposure during the procedure.
Ceramic Dental Implants
For patients interested in an alternative to traditional titanium implants, we offer ceramic dental implant options.
Implant treatment is highly individualized. We consider your bone, gum health, bite, anatomy, medical history, and long-term treatment goals before recommending the most appropriate approach.
Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
When multiple teeth are worn, broken, missing, or no longer functioning comfortably together, treatment may require a more comprehensive plan.
Full-mouth rehabilitation looks at the teeth, bite, function, esthetics, and overall stability of the mouth as a whole rather than treating one tooth at a time.
Your plan may combine conservative restorations, ceramic dentistry, implants, or other treatment based on what your mouth actually needs.
Thoughtful Materials & Treatment Choices
Restorative dentistry is not only about fixing a tooth—it is also about choosing the right material and the right amount of treatment for the individual patient.
We consider the condition of the tooth, how much healthy structure remains, your bite and function, your health history, and your personal material preferences.
